Tusker FC forced a 1-1 draw with ten men KCB in a Premier League clash staged at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru on Saturday 9th.
KCB took the lead in the 14th minute through Reagan Otieno before Bethuel Warambo was sent off for foul on Michael Madoya. The hosts held on to until the stoppage time when Tusker were awarded a late penalty with Timothy Otieno restoring parity.
Tusker had an early chance as Majak flicked the ball on the path of Luke Namanda who could not finish. Minutes later, the visitors were punished by KCB. There was a miscommunication at the back and Reagan Otieno took the chance to put the hosts ahead in the 14th minute.
KCB were reduced to ten men as Bathwel Warambo was shown the second yellow after a dangerous foul on Michael Madoya.
Tusker had a number of chances with Majak and Otieno causing KCB trouble at the back but Okoth remained outstanding to continue frustrating the visitors. Tusker yet again had another attack, a nice combination from Mieno and Macharia, delivering the ball to Macharia whose effort was saved by Okoth.
In the stoppage time, when KCB thought they had secured a win, the referee penalized the home side for handling the ball in the dangerous area. Timothy Otieno stepped up and made no mistake to level the scores for Breweries.
