Daniel James explains how Anthony Martial has improved Manchester United's attack

Since returning from injury, Daniel James admitted Anthony Martial has enabled Manchester United to start clicking as an attacking unit.

Martial spent eight weeks sidelined with an injury after sustaining a thigh strain in the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace back in August.

United have struggled for goals this season as they have scored more than once in the three league games only as Martial provided two assists in the 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

James lauded Martial's impact on United's attack since returning from injury, "Since he's come back in we've got that focal point. He's a great link up player. He can come short or go in behind.

"It's been important for me and for Marcus since he's come back into the team to get that interlink. Since he's come back he's got goals and he's got assists and he's been great for us."

Martial and James have scored six league goals for United this season as they seek to return to the top four.
