Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is not ruling out the possibility of former head coach Pep Guardiola returning to the club as the manager.
Munich are currently without a coach after Niko Kovac was sacked following strings of poor results. Guardiola coached the Bundesliga giants from 2013-2017 and had a huge success before he left for Premier League side Manchester City. Earlier in the day, reports from Germany suggested that the Bavarians want Guardiola back at Allianz Arena and Neuer is not ruling out the possibility of the Spaniard rejoining the Bundesliga side.
"We will see what happens. It is up to responsible people at Bayern to decide," said the Bayern No 1.
"At the moment, everything is going well. Hansi Flick and his team have made a great effort in the last six days. We were quite successful twice. I think responsible people will make a statement if they want to do so," he added.
The 48-year-old is on a final three-man shortlist of candidates together with Paris Saint-Germain's Thomas Tuchel and Ajax's head coach Erik ten Hag.
