Lumala Abdu and Alexis Bbakka reportedly missed the trip to Entebbe and that will result in them missing out on playing in a home fixture for the Uganda national team, Kawowo Sports revealed.
The duo featured in the goalless draw in Ouagadougou with Lumala playing a full game while Bbakka was substituted late in the game.
The national team returned home on Thursday morning with the Uganda Airlines with only 23 players and the rest of officials.
According to the publication, the two players may not feature in Sunday's game against Malawi at the Mandela National Stadium due to unknown reasons.
William Luwagga Kizito and Allan Kyambadde have been tipped to replace the duo while Fahad Bayo may be called up as a centre forward.
