Green Buffaloes assistant coach Christopher Katongo has revealed that his side is targeting finishing in the top four places at the halfway mark of the season to qualify for the 2019/2020 ABSA Cup.
The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner was speaking after he watched his side play out to a one-all draw to make it four games without defeat winning three and drawing one.
"We have not lost a game in our last four games and its something we need to continue as we want to play ABSA Cup, That's our target," he said.
Katongo was not very impressed with the draw as he felt the Soldiers could have carried the day had they been more clinical.
" We could have carried all the maximum points but my strikers failed to burry the chances but am happy that they understood our tactical plan and what we came here to do at Sunset Stadium," he said.
"We have to plan for Kabwe Warriors and see what we can get out of our home," he added.
Paul Simpemba capitalized on a defensive error by Sensational Zanaco defender Ziyo Tembo to level matters a minute after Chitiya Mususu had put the Bankers in the lead, 1-1 the match finished.
