Jurgen Klopp provides an injury update on Fabinho after limping off against Napoli

Ahead of Liverpool's busy schedule in December, Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Fabinho's injury could be a massive problem for the club.

Fabinho limped off after 19 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Napoli as Georginio Wijnaldum came on in his place.

The Brazilian midfielder is suspended for the weekend clash against Brighton and Hove Albion but is a doubt for next week's Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield.

Speaking in a press conference after the draw against Napoli, Klopp provided an injury update on Fabinho, "The biggest things is the Fabinho injury, that's massive. It's early and we all hope it's not too serious.

"But it's pretty painful and in an area you don't want to have pain, around the ankle."

Three sides have a chance of qualifying for the Round of 16 heading into the final game with Liverpool needing at least a draw against Salzburg FC to ensure their progression.
