John Obi Mikel will be making his 10th Europa League appearance if he plays for Trabzonspor on Thursday against Getafe.
Getafe recorded a 1-0 win over Trabzonspor on Matchday 1, with Angel scoring the winning goal.
Trabzonspor can no longer qualify from Group C as they have just one point from four matches.
Mikel, who was unavailable for their last Europa game due to a thigh injury, could make his 10th appearance in the competition since making his debut in 2013.
“Getting ready for the Europa League game,” he wrote on Instagram.
Basel top Group C with 10 points, while Krasnodar are second but tied on the same points (seven) with third-place Getafe.
