Michael Olunga scored 27 goals for Kashiwa Reysol in the 2019 Japanese J2 League to help his side to promotion.
The Harambee Stars striker has been in some brilliant form this season with the highlight of his goals being the eight goals he scored in the last game of the season against Kyoto Sanga; his team running 13-1 in the game.
In the season, the Stars striker appeared in 30 games where he was introduced from the bench on two occasions, sat on the bench in four games without making an appearance and was substituted nine times; he received four yellow cards the entire season with no red card.
The 27 goals saw him become the runners up in the golden boot race won by Albirex Leonardo.
The striker began his overseas career in Sweden with Djurgardens in 2016 before moving to Chinese club Guizhou Zhicheng, who loaned him to Girona in Spain before he signed for Kashiwa Reysol.
