Sensational Zanaco head coach Numba says he is expecting a tough match on Sunday when they square off with Motema Pembe at the Complexe Omnisports Stade Martyrs in Kinshasa.
Numba was also quick to praise the reception accorded to his side by the home team. Numba is making a return to DR Congo 15 years after visiting as a player with the Bankers a match they lost one-nil to AS Vita.
"We very happy to be here. The reception has been very good and the preparations are going on well. When we came here last time we played AS Vita in 2004 I was a player with the same team and now am a head coach," he said.
" We expect a tough game against Motema Pembe I think they are a good side and we need to work hard to get a positive result on Sunday, " he added.
The Zanaco gaffer went on to assure the fans that the team will do its best not to disappoint them.
"Of we have come here with a strategy, We will try to be as cautious as possible although we can't reveal a lot to the media. With the information we have gotten on how Motema Pembe plays we will be able to plan for them," he said.
"We are here for a job and we do everything possible to not disappoint our supporters. We work hard to make sure we get a desirable result," he added.
Zanaco takes on DC Motema Pembe in their opening CAF Confederation Cup Group C match at Complexe Omnisports Stade Martyrs, Kinshasa (DRC) on 1 December.
