Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo has returned to training ahead of the club's LaLiga clash against Sevilla.
The game will be played on Sunday at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Omeruo picked up a muscular injury in the Los Pepineros 2-1 defeat to Barcelona last weekend and was a doubt for the trip to Sevilla, but trained with his side on Friday.
A Spanish football website, futbolfantasy wrote that Javier Aguirre will be able to count on the service of the Nigeria international as they look to save the club from relegation.
“Leganés has completed the work, recovering two of the players who were serious doubts for Sunday’s match at Sánchez Pizjuán. Kenneth Omeruo and Roberto Rosales.
“The Nigerian central suffered muscle discomfort during the last league match and Roberto Rosales finished the same game with a slightly sprained ankle. Luckily, both have recovered well and could enter the call, although their presence in the starting eleven remains doubtful.”
Omeruo has made five appearances for Leganes this season.
