Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Jenas believes Mauricio Pochettino is too good for Arsenal at the moment.
The Argentine was shown the door two weeks ago, with Jose Mourinho replacing him, less than 12 hours after his exit.
The former Southampton coach has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, and most recently the vacant post at Arsenal, which was left by Unai Emery's exit.
The forward however feels the Arsenal job is not attractive enough and has backed Pochettino to wait until the summer when Europe's powerhouses can come for him.
"Arsenal are a great football club and wages would be great for Mauricio," he told BT Sport. "I kinda put myself in his shoes and I'd say his stock is too high for that [Arsenal].
"At the end of the season, there's a good chance that Man United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid could phone him. I wouldn't mention Barcelona because he won't go there,"
"There is a lot of huge clubs out there where I think he could go to. The Arsenal job? I don't think this one is that attractive, personally, to anybody right now."
Bayern Munich are said to be keen on the Argentine, with Manchester United also interested, even though they are not willing to let go of Ole Gunnar yet.
A single point separates Arsenal, who are eight with 19 points and Manchester United who are ninth in the English Premier League.
