Kenya’s Harambee Stars will begin their CECAFA title defence with a tie against Djibouti on Sunday 8 December.
Stars are in Group C together with Djibouti, Tanzania, and Zanzibar with matches against the latter two coming on Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 respectively.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Ethiopia who were in Group A together with hosts Uganda, Burundi and Eritrea have pulled out of the tournament due to lack of funds.
Burundi will Kick Off the showpiece at 2 pm on Saturday 7 December when they come up against Eritrea with Uganda having been slated to take on Ethiopia later in the evening.
There is a total of four games on day two with Somalia taking on Sudan, invited team DR Congo taking on South Sudan, Kenya taking on Djibouti and with Tanzania taking on Zanzibar.
The Tournament Kicks Of on Saturday 7-19 December at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru and Kyabazinga Stadium all in Jinja-Uganda.
