Kariobangi Sharks captain Patila Omoto has urged his teammates to pull together in a bid to overcome their difficult start to the Kenyan Premier League this season.
The first leg of the current campaign has undoubtedly been the toughed Sharks have faced during their three-year stay in the KPL. The Slum Boys have managed to registered a single win in the 12 Premier League matches and the pressure continues to mount.
During Tuesday's training session, Omoto urged his teammates to pull together and continue pushing hard during these tough times.
"We know it is a difficult moment. For most of us, we have never been in such a situation. It not where we want to be. Everyone is pulling together and as the leaders in the team, we are trying to psych up the squad, to have that belief once again," said Omoto as quoted by the club's official website.
"Great players also show their other side in times like this. I believe we have mentally strong players and now is the time to show that. The time to fight for this badge. We will keep pushing hard," he added.
Sharks, who suffered 5-2 defeat in the hands of KCB over the weekend will take on Tusker FC on Friday 6th.
