Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi has revealed his ambitions of retaining the CECAFA Senior Championship ahead of the tournament slated for Uganda this weekend.
Kenya are the reigning champions in the tournament after winning the 2017 edition that was hosted in Kenya, requiring penalties to beat Zanzibar in the final.
Harambee Stars will face a tough task of lifting the trophy as the last time Uganda failed to win a tournament hosted at home was in 1995.
Kimanzi confirmed full house at the Harambee Stars residential training camp and spoke of his plans to retain the title, "Everyone who was called up to the camp has reported and is training hard for the tournament.
"We are looking forward to retaining the trophy we won in the 2017 CECAFA Championships."
Harambee Stars will begin their title defence in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup against Djibouti on December 8 as they are pooled in Group C alongside Tanzania, Djibouti, and Zanzibar.
