๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Nakambala appoint Albert Mphande as their new head coach

Zambia Super League side Nakambala Leopards has confirmed the appointment of former Nkwazi coach Albert Mphande as their new head.

The club confirmed the development in a press statement accessed by Futaa Zambia. Mphande has signed one deal and will be assisted by Nerbet Phiri who has also signed a one year deal.

"We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Albert Mphande Joel Mphande as head coach for Nakambala Leopards Football club on a contract of one year. Mr Mphande will be assisted by Mr Nerbet Phiri who has been appointed as a first assistant coach."

The management of the Mazabuka based outfit believes Mphande is the man to take them back to their glory days as they are currently languishing in the relegation zone with eight points from eleven games.

"Mr Mphande comes to Nakambala Leopards with massive coaching experience acquired from within and outside the country. It is our belief that his appointment will bring a lot of hope and excitement to the team and our soccer fans."

Nakambala earlier today confirmed that they had parted ways with Zeddy Saileti and his first Assistant coach Linos Makwaza following a string of poor results.

Mphande who is Zambia U20 national team assistant coach is expected to be unveiled at the Nakambala Stadium after the U20 COSAFA tournament. Stanley Mutinta and Lameck Banda will be in charge of the team in the meantime.
