Kakamega Homeboyz and Western Stima come from a goal behind to beat Nzoia Sugar and Chemelil Sugar respectively with a similar 2-1 scoreline.
Homeboyz and Nzoia were off to a slow start as they failed to test goalkeepers with the first half ending with both sides locked on a 0-0 scoreline.
After a barren first half with chances few and far between Nzoia came back into the second half strongly and opened the scoring through Robert Abonga in the 57th minute.
Homeboyz leveled proceedings in the 76th minute through former KCB forward Shami Kibwana while Chris Masinza's long-range strike in stoppage time ensured Homeboyz went back to Kakamega with all three points.
In the other only match of the day, Chemelil almost picked up their first win of the season when they took the lead six minutes after the resumption of the second half through Vincent Wanga.
Goals from Salim Hamisi and Baron Oketch saw Stima bag the comeback win and pile more misery on Chemelil who have one point from the opening 12 games.
The wins thrust Kakamega Homeboyz and Western Stima to third and fourth on the log respectively while Nzoia remain 14th with Chemelil on 17th spot.
