📈Ayub Timbe statistics in 2019 as Beijing Rehne is relegated

2019 might not have been a good year for Ayub Timbe with his clubs majorly because he was hampered with an injury that had threatened to deny him a place in the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

Despite making the Harambee Stars AFCON team where he played in all the games as the Sebastien Migne coached side excited the completion in the group stage, his season with Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe ended in relegation.

With his club, Timbe featured in 13 games the entire season; one game less than what he accumulated in the 2018 season. There was a reduction in his goal tally too as he could manage only two goals (against Tiajinjin Tianhai and Chongging Lifan) in the just-completed season this after scoring seven in 2018.

Game Starts

In the 13 games, he started eleven, substituted five times and was introduced from the bench on two occasions; he stayed on the bench without making a contribution in three games earning one yellow card in the entire season.

Rumours have started surfacing that he might consider his future at the Chinese Super League but he is seen as an asset for the club as they aim to bounce straight back to the top flight next season.

Renhe finished last in the 16 team league with 14 points after 30 games and will participate in the China League One in 2020.
