The 27 goals came in 30 appearances for the Kenyan. He started 28 games, was introduced twice, was withdrawn nine times and watched games from the bench on four occasions; he got four yellow cards for his troubles.

Apart from Tokyo and Sanga, the opponents who suffered against Olunga in the league this season were Kagoshima United (1), Avispa Fukuoka (2), Gifu (2), V-Varen Nagasaki (3), Renofa Yamaguchi (3), Tochigi (1), Ventforet Kofu (1), Gifu (One), Omiya Ardija (1), Tokushima Vortis (1) and Albirex Niigata (1)
