AFC Leopards settled for a barren draw with KCB in a Kenyan Premier League match staged at Afraha Stadium on Thursday 12th.
Coming from a 2-2 draw with Nzoia Sugar in their previous match, Leopards could not collect maximum points against resilient KCB. The Bankers were coming from a huge victory over the weekend after hammering Kariobangi Sharks 5-2.
The first chance went to KCB in the fourth minute as Ochan Agwanda was forced to an early save. The AFC Leopards keep stung his palms to deny the visitors from taking an early lead. Ingwe responded minutes later as Otieno Austin found himself in a shooting position but his attempt went wide.
KCB created another dangerous chance in the 14th minute and surely they should have taken the lead as Ochan was beaten easily but the ball bounced off the goal post.
Despite both sides creating a host of chances in the game, it all ended square.
The draw leaves KCB in the fifth position with 22 points while Leopards are eighth with 18.
Leopards will be up against Tusker on Sunday 15th at Kenyatta Stadium while KCB will welcome Wazito in the same venue.
