Power dynamos cruised to a three-nil win over Sensational Zanaco on Wednesday at the National Heroes Stadium but head coach Osward Mutapa believes his side is far from being a good side.
Mutapa feels his team lacks depth and needs to put in a lot of work to be considered as a good team once again.
"We are far away from resolving the issues at Power dynamos. We are very far away from being a good team. What's good at Power dynamos is the infrastructure so we just have to train obviously we want to play good football. We have to go into the market and get some players because we don't have depth," he said.
"It's a sweet victory because Power dynamos are a big team but have been languishing in the relegation zone so this win gives us a breather. It won't be easy so we will just soldier on," he added.
Mutapa went on to explain how he and his players executed the demolition of the Bankers.
"Obviously we were playing a team that has played some games recently and we knew that their fitness levels would be high but we just said we needed to keep the ball. We have good players like Larry, Benson, and Kafwaya who can play the ball so we said let's play our style and not always hit the ball to the striker," he said.
"Zanaco, however, had a plan to stop us from building from the back but that left gaps in their defense which we capitalized on and scored those goals," he added.
Larry Bwalya notched up a brace and set up Fred Mulambia for the third goal as Power dynamos cruised to an emphatic 3-0 win at the National Heroes Stadium on Wednesday.
