Ghana Premier League giants Kotoko and Hearts will not be meeting this weekend in Accra.
The mammoth game is set for a rematch after unrelenting heavy rain ruined the previous date. The Ghana League Clubs Associations (GHALCA) announced moving the event to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. It was further confirmed that the match will instead play next weekend.
Ghana Soccer Net believes that the reason behind the change was caused by the strained condition of the Baba Yara ground.
“Due to the bad nature of the Accra Sports Stadium after the pitch has used for series of events, the match has been moved to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on the Sunday, December 22, 2019.”
