Zambia U20 national team midfielder Patrick Gondwe scored two fantastic strikes as Zambia cruised to a 3-0 win over Angola on Thursday at Nkoloma Stadium to book a place in the final.
The Nkana midfielder was voted as the player of the match for his outstanding performance. Gondwe has expressed happiness with both the match of the match accolade and his first goals in the tournament.
."First and foremost I would like to thank God for giving me this award it's not easy. The coach told us to go out press the game and not give them space. He told us to play our game and to utilize our chances," Gondwe told Futaa Zambia after the match.
"I am very happy to score my first goals in the tournament," he added.
The two Southern African football powerhouses will go head to head on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium at 15:00hrs with Zambia aiming for a record 11th title while Amajita will be looking to make it three wins in a row.
