Nigeria's senior women's national team has dropped three places in the latest FIFA ranking released on Friday, December 3.
The Super Falcons dropped from 36th to 39th position in the world, but are still the number one team in Africa.
Cameroon, second in Africa, also dropped three places to 49th position from 46th in the global ranking.
The Banyana Banyana of South Africa, however, maintained their 55th position and are Africa’s third-best side.
World Cup champions the United States of America remain at number one team in the world, while former world champions Germany are at number two.
In third position is the Netherlands, France occupy fourth, Sweden are fifth and England sixth.
