REPORTS: Wazito set to axe foreigners including two former Gor Mahia defenders

Following an underwhelming first half of the season, Wazito are reportedly set to axe foreign players in a bid to reshape the team ahead of the January transfer window.

Former Gor Mahia defenders Karim Nizigiyimana and Abouda Sibomana are said to be part of the list that will be shipped out once the January transfer window swings open.

Masoor Safi is also deemed surplus to requirements at Wazito after failing to impress since being signed by Wazito.

Wazito are in a poor run of form losing two consecutive matches and have only won two matches in the opening 13 matches, sitting just three points above relegation places.

A number of local players are also reportedly set to leave the club in January with Gad Mathews who has failed to make a competitive appearance for Wazito this season likely to be on the list.
