πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ”₯ Nigeria FA target Italy & Germany friendlies: We are not interested in teams below us in FIFA's ranking

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) want to keep up the high standards by following the October Brazil meeting with Italy & Germany.

The Super Eagles had their chests out with sky-high motivations as they drew 1-1 with the iconic Brazil in Singapore in October. It now turns out that Nigeria might not be finished with high-profile events.

“We want to maximise the FIFA's windows by playing quality matches. It is not about playing matches but about quality opposition to strengthen the Super Eagles,” NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi said via All Africa.

"It is fairly a long time since we played Italy and we will want to take them on again. We also need a friendly match against Germany, he enthused.

"We are not interested in teams below us in FIFA's ranking.

Sanusi also confirmed that added inspiration to email the Squadra Azzurra and Die Nationalmannschaft stems from the special belief that came from the Brazil experience.

"There is one thing the friendly against Brazil did, it helps to boost and give Eagles the necessary confidence.

"It is fairly a long time since we played Italy and we will want to take them on again. We also need a friendly match against Germany", he concluded.
