Wilfred Ndidi was in action from start to finish as Leicester City beat Everton 4-2 on penalty to qualify for the Carabao Cup semifinals.
His Everton compatriot Alex Iwobi was in action for 78 minutes before being substituted for Cenk Tosun.
It was a no-show for Kelechi Iheanacho as Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers left him on the bench all through the entertaining encounter.
Leicester raced into a 2-0 led in the first half following James Madison and Johny Evans' goals in the 26th and 29th minute, but the hosts equalized through Tom Davies and Leighton Baines deep in injury time to send the match into penalties.
Both Madison and Baines interestingly missed their spot-kicks, with Cenk Tosun the other Everton player to miss from 12 yards.
