FIFA Club World Cup 2019: All you need to know ahead of Saturday's final match

Liverpool will become World Club champions for the first time if they beat Flamengo on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's men needed a last-minute Roberto Firmino goal to go past Mexican side Monterrey in the semifinals and will need to be clinical against sterner opponents in Flamengo.

The Copa Libertadores winners secured their place in the final with a 3-1 comeback victory over Al Hilal in the first semifinal.

The last time an English Premier League club lifted the title was back in 2008, when Manchester United, under Alex Furguson, beat LDU Quito in Yokohama, Japan.

The competition has been dominated by Spanish clubs in recent seasons, with the clubs winning the last six finals; Real Madrid winning (4) Barcelona (2).
