Arsenal have suffered another injury blow in their defensive department as Kieran Tierney has been ruled out for three months after undergoing surgery.
The left-back underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder after dislocating it in the clash against West Ham on December 9 last month.
The surgery means that the 22-year-old now faces a spell on the sidelines as he rehabilitates from the injury, and is not expected back in full training until March.
Tierney signed with a hip problem and had to wait till September to make his debut, managing only 11 appearances since joining Arsenal.
He becomes the latest player to suffer an injury set back after Calum Chambers was ruled out of action for between six to nine months after suffering an injury in the defeat to Chelsea.
Injuries in the defensive department may force Arsenal to dive into the transfer market as they have been linked with RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.
