Following the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, Frank Lampard has admitted that Olivier Giroud could leave Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The Frenchman is entering the final six months of his contract and has been handed limited game time, starting just two games this season.
Speaking in a press conference after the win over Forest, Lampard provided a transfer update on Giroud, "There's no update on Ollie, but I've spoken with him.
"If the conditions are that it's something he really wants to do and it works for the club, for me and the squad then it's something that could happen. But only when all of those bases are covered. So we'll see if we're there."
Chelsea have been reported to be interested in Olympic Lyon forward Moussa Dembele and are said to be preparing to pay £34million for his signing.
