Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has compared Pep Guardiola to Sir Alex Ferguson following their impact in English football.
Guardiola's Manchester City became the first side to seal a quadruple after winning the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Community Shield.
Ferguson, on the other hand, had a great impact at United, winning two Champions League titles and 13 Premier League crowns in his 26-year reign.
Solskjaer revealed that Ferguson had a greater influence on the English game than Guardiola, "I must say Pep's had a big, big influence and, ever since he took over at Barcelona, I've admired Pep’s teams.
"But, I've got to say, I worked under the most influential one (Ferguson). For me, it's great to see one of the best managers ever and you can see where he's taken his wisdom from.
"I had the pleasure of speaking and meeting Johan Cruyff back in the day when Jordi was here and you can see certain similarities."
