A 4-1 victory over Paradou AC of Algeria on Sunday ensured Enyimba return to winning ways in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Nigerian club had suffered a 1-0 loss in the reverse fixture played in Algeria on December 29 but bounced back will massive goals.
The latest result means Enyimba have now won their first game in five matches.
Stanley Dimgba put Enyimba ahead in the 15th minute before Victor Mbaoma scored the second 20 minutes later.
Dimgba scored again when he chips the ball past Algerian goalkeeper to put the game at 3-0 before completing his hat-trick in the 77th minute.
Paradou, however, got a consolation goal in the 89th minute through Abdelhak Kadri to end the game 4-1.
Enyimba who now have six points from four matches will face HUSA FC of Morocco on January 26 in Aba in their next CAF Confederation Cup game.
It was a different feeling for Enugu Rangers, as they were held to a 1-1 draw at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium by visiting Nouadhibou from Mauritania.
The home side fell behind in the 22nd minute via a free-kick, which was curled in by Yasin Elwely, beating goalkeeper Nana Bonsu but bounced back through Ibrahim Olawoyin, who scored from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
Rangers have just two points from four matches and are sitting bottom of the group.
Their last two games are against Egyptian sides Pyramid FC away on January 26 and Al Masry on February 2.
