AFC Leopards youth awarded three points from abandoned match

AFC Leopards Youth team was on Sunday awarded three points for the abandoned match against Ligi Ndogo.

The match between the two sides, which was staged at Posta Grounds, Ngong Road, was called off midway due to security reasons with the match tied at 0-0.

According to Football Kenya Federation regulations, the center referee is allowed to call off a match if he feels the security of the players and fans is at risk and the home team loses the points to the visitors.

This was the young leopards' first match in the Nairobi West County League this year, and will next play KFS FC at the KFS Grounds on January 28, 2019.
