The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) president Kurt Okraku has been roped in by the Confederation of African (CAF).
Okraku is now a member of CAF’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament organizing committee. The post was previously held by George Afriyie.
The board’s key responsibility is to select AFCON hosts and administrations for the biannual event. The current term will be running up until 2022.
Okraku was named the GFA president back in the spring of 2019 after successfully winning the elections. The president’s most recent leadership decisions was the appointment of the Ghana Black Stars coach as well as the U23s.
