Orlando Pirates coach Jozef Zinnbauer celebrated beating Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 while also expressing high respect for the Absa Premiership and CAF Champions League quarter-finalists.
Zinnabauer won his third game in four matches since joining Bucs in December 2019 - and the win over Sundowns was without doubt the biggest result of all.
"I think it was a good game for both teams but we have a little more luck, we need the luck and I think in the end of the time we make a good work about a really good team from Sundowns," Zinnbauer told SuperSport TV via Soccer Laduma.
"Congratulations for this team, perfect players, good tactic, it's very hard against them. It's very good, congratulations for this team.
The 49-year-old German also took the moment to salute the Ghost who nearly filled up the 40 000 capacity Orlando Stadium.
"First I have to say, the supporters now, it's great! We need this! It's beautiful, we heard in the ear, we feel that the players come back and we made a good job without the ball and a good job with the ball but we need time.
"It's not all, it's very good, it's coming but we make a lot of mistakes but we'll work on this and then we come,” concluded Zinnbauer.
Next up is a home game against Highlands Park on Saturday at 18:00. A win will keep Pirates in fifth position and 11 points behind leaders Chiefs.
