Bandari FC caretaker boss Twahir Muhiddin has urged the club fans to support the team during this difficult period.
Former boss Bernard Mwalala stepped down after Bandari lost 2-1 to Tusker FC on Sunday at the Mbaraki Sports Club. The defeat was the Dockers' eighth loss of the season which left them eleventh on the log after accumulating 21 points. A number of Bandari fans have become impatient but the caretaker boss has urged the fans to support the team.
"I urge the fans to come and support the team because we say if a baby sh**ts on your lap, you don't cut it but instead wash and continue with life," he said.
"These things happen in football, we call them football cycle. I remember when Brazil won the Wolrd Cup in 1994, they had stayed six World Cup that is 24 years before lifting it in the US."
"Brazil went through the same cycle we went through, even teams like Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, there was a time they were going to be disbanded. They ended up collecting themselves and here they are now."
Bandari will take on Gor Mahia on 25th January in a KPL encounter.
