French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris, Ghanasoccernet reported.
The publication had previously reported on Tuesday that Waris would be completing a move to the Ligue 1 side.
Strasbourg announced the signing of the 28-year-old on a six-month loan deal from Portuguese outfit Porto with an option to buy for €2 million at the completion of his contract.
Strasbourg are the fourth French club the Ghanaian will representing — having played for Valenciennes, FC Lorient and FC Nantes — where he netted 5 goals in 33 matches across all competitions.
