Deportivo Alaves are reportedly set to sell Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso to the highest bidder in the ongoing transfer window, FootballGhana reported.
This comes after Wakaso failed to reach an agreement with management, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has been one of Alaves' breakout players since joining them from Greek outfit Panathinaikos on a three-year deal.
Wakaso has played in 26 games for Alaves in the La Liga this season and has gone on to be rated as one of the best foreign midfielders alongside Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey.
The Ghanaian has been heavily linked with several clubs across Europe as well as China - it is yet to be seen the outcome of his future.
