Harambee Starlets midfielder Corazon Aquino is on the verge of joining Spanish top-flight side Club Atlético Osasuna Femenino better known as Osasuna.
The Gaspo Youth midfielder has been a key member of the Harambee Starlets team in recent years and was linked with a move away in the USA sometime back after her secondary school education.
Source privy to Futaa reveal that the move should be confirmed next week with the player expected to leave the country before the end of the month.
Founded in 2003, Osasuna plays their home games at the Tajonar Facilities in Pamplona and finished first in last season of the Segunda Division. The team was disbanded in June 2014 in the midst of financial turmoil, weeks after the male team's relegation to the Segunda División.
Apart from winning the Segunda Division last season, they have Navarre Regional League and Navarre Provincial League titles to their name.
Aquino becomes the latest player in the Starlets team who is set for a European sojourn after those of Annedy Kundu and Ruth Ingosi who are headed for Cyprus.
Apart from the duo, forward Mwanahalima Jereko Adam is set to leave the country next week for Sweeden where she is expected to ink a deal with Djugardens IF.
