Immediate former Manchester United captain Ashely Young has released a statement after completing a move to Serie A giants’ Inter Milan.
In a tweet, Young thanked United for giving him the chance to play with legends, win trophies, work with the greatest manager in history and being their captain.
The former England international went further and thanked the club fans for the support all through the years.
Since joining United in 2011 from Aston Villa, Young made 261 appearances and scored 19 goals. With the Red Devils, Young collected one Premier League, one FA Cup, one League Cup, three Community Shields and one Europa League.
He becomes the third English player to ever play for Inter, following in the footsteps of Gerry Hitchens and Paul Ince.
