REPORTS: PSG to replace Tuchel with Pep Guardiola

French moneybags Paris Saint Germain is expected to replace manager Thomas Tuchel with Pep Guardiola according to reports from Express.

The report indicates that PSG will try and lure Pep Guardiola away from Manchester City where he is under contract until 2021 this coming a week after Guardiola said he is determined to see off his contract unless he is sacked by the club.

PSG is said to be willing to part ways with German Tuchel should he fail to lead the club to the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Tuchel has experienced domestic success but is yet to reach the quarter-finals of the European competition despite the amount of money spent to assemble PSG’s squad and the expectations at the club is said to be at an all-time high this season.

PSG sees Guardiola as the man to lead them to greater heights in the Champions League with the club hierarchy having no doubts about their dominance in the French Ligue One.

But Guardiola hasn’t won the Champions League since he was at FC Barcelona in 2011 and having had very good teams at FC Bayern Munich and now at City.
