Zambia national team striker Brian Mwila has joined Algerian Ligue1 DZ side Entente Sportive Sétifienne popularly known as ES Sétif from Rheindorf Altach.
The 25-year old forward leaves the Austrian outfit, Altach after a one and half year spell. Mwila joined Altach in August 2018 from Zambia Super League side Buildcon but failed to properly settle at the club and suffered a long term injury.
Mwila only managed to play 20 games and scored eight goals. For the ES Sétif fans, they will remember the former Platinum Stars forward from the Zambia national team squad that beat Algeria in World Cup qualifiers in 2017 home and away.
Mwila scored a brace in the 3-1 home win. The Acquisition of the Zambian forward for the Black Eagles is in a bid to reinforce the squad for the second half of the season which kicks off next month.
ES Sétif is currently sixth on the Algerian Ligue 1 log table with 20 points from 15 games played so far.
