News out of France suggests that Tinotenda Kadwere is on the brink of becoming a footballer for Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon.
Kadewere made himself a highly sought-after striker with 18 goals in 20 games for Ligue 2 side Le Havre this season. The 24-year-old is targeted by several sides across Europe like Galatasaray, Aston Villa, Southampton, Newcastle and Cetic.
“Kadewere has agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of an imminent €15m transfer from Ligue 2 side Le Havre that is widely expected to take place in the coming days,” reported Paris-Normandie.
“Le Havre and Lyon representatives are expected to meet on Monday or Tuesday next week to agree on the final details in order to conclude the transfer.”
The possible move will see a second Zimbabwean footballer in Ligue 1 after Nyasha Marshall Munetsi at Stade Reims. Futaa will be keeping close tabs on any confirmation updates for "Tino.”
