Struggling Yanga SC on Wednesday will be out to try and register their first win in three matches when they travel to Singida united for a midweek Vodacom Premier League match.
Yanga has struggled for form under their new coach Luc Eymael drawing one and losing two in their last three matches. They were thrashed 3-0 by Kagera Sugar and lost 1-0 at Azam FC on Saturday.
Eymael off-pitch antics have tried deflecting the limelight that has illuminated Yanga's poor form and dismal run. The Belgian hogged headlines over the weekend when he sensationally claimed that the match referee of their tie against Azam, Hans Mabena, racially discriminated him.
Away from the claims, Eymael will be looking forward to fielding his new striker Ghanaian Bernard Morrison whom he signed from South Africa's Orlando Pirates.
Singida United are no better as they're languishing in the 19th position on the log with 10 points, just one above bottom-placed Ndana FC. They will be hoping that their 1-0 win over Ruvu Shooting stars last weekend will inspire a better run in the league.
In other matches set for Wednesday afternoon, Azam FC will be hoping that a victory over Mwadui will help them cut leaders Simba's gap. They're second on the league with 32 points, nine behind Wasimbazi. They have won four of their last matches.
At Uhuru Stadium, Ruvu Shooting will host KMC in a mid-table clash. Ruvu is placed 12th with 20 points while KMC are 17th with 17 points.
