Harambee Stars skipper Victor Wanyama is a gift that keeps on giving as he is set to launch a state of the art football academy in Kenya soon.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has embarked on giving back to the society as he recently donated a bus to his former side Country Bus FC who share it with Muthurwa Boxing Club.
Wanyama has also established his foundation whose main aim is to give disadvantaged youth in Kenya an opportunity to horn their talents and also provide holistic education.
According to the Victor Wanyama Academy website, the organization describes itself as, "A private organization with a vision to a commitment to education, research and innovation undertaken in partnership with our students, governments, business, and industry and with tangible benefits for individuals, society and the economy in Kenya and Busia in particular.
"We are committed to ensuring that every student fulfills their potential to make outstanding contributions to their own and future generations."
According to their Twitter handle, the organization revealed they are about to launch soon.
The exact location of the facility is yet to be established but it will sit on a 20-acre piece of land with facilities such as 3G Astro pitch, fully equipped modern gym, and an outdoor Swimming pool.
The academy is open to boys and girls of all abilities aged from 3 years old with the aim of pursuing Sports participation, Health, Education and Social cohesion and Inclusion.
