Sensational Zanaco head coach Chris Kaunda says his team's 5-1 win over Nakambala Leopards is good preparation for Saturday's CAF Confederation Cup tie against Motema Pembe.
Kaunda has also expressed happiness with the players who he says have finally begun to understand the kind of football he likes. Kaunda went on to say that he wants the players to always enjoy playing the game.
"It's a good victory and for us we taking each game as it comes. It's good preparation for the CAF Confederation Cup and is happy that the boys have started understanding the kind of football I like, They are expressing themselves and they are enjoying which is very important," he said.
The bankers will host Motema Pembe on Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup group B matchday five encounter at the National Heroes Stadium.
Kaunda feels it will be a different game from the match against Nakambala. He also went on to say he expects a lot of fans at the Stadium since Zanaco is representing the country and not themselves.
" It will be a different game and the approach will be different. Today we were very cautious through the game, we were worried about injuries. We will see what will happen on Sunday. We hope there won't be rains and people will come to support us," he said.
"When Zanaco and Zesco are playing it's not about the clubs it's the interest of the nation at stake so we are expecting a lot of people to come and support us, " he added.
Rodger Kola scored a first-half hat-trick while Kiala Lassa scored a second-half brace to make sure Zanaco continued their winning run.
The Bankers have now won their last four games in all competitions.
