Real Sociedad head coach Imanol Alguacil has responded to reports linking striker Willian Jose with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Barcelona have turned their attention to Willian after they were granted permission by the Spanish authorities to sign a replacement for Ousmane Dembele. The Spanish giants are keen to bring in an attacker with Dembele and Luis Suarez sidelined due to injuries.
The Frenchman has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after aggravating a hamstring injury in training and undergoing surgery in Finland to cure the problem.
Alguacil has spoken about Barcelona's interest in striker Willian Jose ahead of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Mirandes on Thursday.
"If they put the 70 million euros on the table then fine, there’s nothing left to say," he said.
"The whole thing about Willian Jose is starting to get a bit much. He’s our player and he wants to continue to be our player. I don’t know how long for but as far as I understand it he’ll be with us until the end of the season."
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Premier League clubs with both Manchester United and Tottenham failing to secure his services during the January transfer window.
