The Black Stars of Ghana may miss out on the talent of Inaki Williams after Spain manager shows fresh interest in the striker.
Local media has reported that Spain boss Luis Enrique has set his sights on the Athletic Bilbao target man. The twist comes after Wiliams hit fresh form since last representing Spain in a friendly back in 2016.
“Spain boss Luis Enrique is impressed with the performance of the striker and he is reportedly considering him for a place in his squad for the Euro 2020 tournament,” Football Media Ghana believes.
“The forward showed exactly what he can offer, while it’s important to remember that Spain will play at San Mames in the summer.
The 25-year-old is currently on nine goals, three assists in 29 games. He grabbed Spanish latest headlines with last weekend’s winner against FC Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey. Williams also represented Spain’s U21’s on 17 occasions where he scored three goals.
