No Foreign-based player as Ouma names Starlets squad for Turkey trip

Harambee Starlets head coach David Ouma has included no foreign-based player in her squad that is set to participate in the Turkish Women Cup next month.

Many had expected the coach to include the likes of keeper Annedy Khundu, Ruth Ingosi, Corazone Aquino and Esse Akida who made moves in the past months but that hasn’t been the case.

The tournament is set to be staged between March 2-11 in Turkey with the team expected to report to camp on February 23 in Nairobi.

A local friendly is set for February 29 this coming before they jet out to Turkey on March 2, 2020.

Apart from Kenya, the other countries expected to grace the tournament is Hungary, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Romania, Uzbekistan, Northern Ireland, Turkmenistan, and Chile.
