Manchester United has received some boost with midfielder Paul Pogba arriving in the club’s training base on Friday.
The World Cup winner has had a rehabilitation session in Dubai after managing just 71 minutes of football since he first picked up a recurring ankle problem in September.
The news comes at a time when United’s manager admitted that the player was nowhere near a return with his future being another issue that has hit headlines in recent weeks.
Pogba was pictured driving into United's AON Carrington Training Complex after United returned back from Thursday night's 1-1 Europa League draw with Club Brugge in Belgium; the player having played last on Boxing Day after undergoing ankle surgery in January.
The player is reported to be targeting return by the end of the month and could put himself in contention to feature in the against City on March 8.
He shared another video of his rehabilitation on his Instagram account this week after posts last week showed him running and swimming.
There have been rumours too that the player wants out of United with Real Madrid and Juventus being his next possible destination.
