The Birmingham Mail reports that Manchester United are ready to let go of the duo of Andreas Perreira and Jesse Lingard as they seek to get funds for Jack Grealish.
United have been linked with Grealish who has been brilliant for Aston Villa this season but their position at the log is a worry with the midfielder said to be keen on a move should his side get relegated.
Grealish is firmly on the wanted list at Old Trafford with the uncertainty surrounding the future of Paul Pogba who is wanted by both Real Madrid and Juventus.
With seven goals and six assists, Grealish is spearheading Villa’s charge to stay up with a number of teams including Tottenham Hotspur said to be keen on the English midfielder.
Grealish didn’t disappoint in what many described as an exhibition match for him earlier in the season when he gave a man of the match performance at Old Trafford to help his team to a 2-2 draw against United in December.
Lingard is yet to score or assist a goal in the Premier League this season and was left out of the squad against Chelsea along with Pereira who has scored once and set up three this term.
Grealish is under contract at Villa until 2023 having penned a new long-term deal in 2018.
